The search for a doctor has not been the funest thing in the world. We started with a doctor that was close to the house. She was at a newer hospital very clean and people were nice but they didn’t really speak English so I wasn’t really comfortable with it. Though Alex said she was willing to do it our way.
The second hospital we didn’t meet with a doctor just took a tour of the hospital. But they didn’t seem willing to do things our way they seemed to have their procedures and weren’t willing to stray from that. So we didn’t meet with a doctor.
The third place was really nice we liked the doctor liked the hospital. One thing against it is it is down town so if there were traffic it could take 2 hours to get to it. And then later a I was looking at there price booklet and besides being more than double what the other hospitals were if we had the baby between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am it would be an extra $800. So we were on the hunt again.
The last hospital we have looked at is close to the house (took us 20 min to get home). The doctor was hard for me to understand but he was kind of funny. He didn’t seem worried about my blood type like all the other hospitals were. And he seemed willing to do things our way. We weren’t able to take a hospital tour because they didn’t have any open rooms. But for now we are taking planning on using this hospital. I did see lots of babies at the hospital so hopefully it is a good sign.
